| El
Puente Establishment was founded in 1982 when a family of German
inmigrants, attracted by the purity of the environment of the Argentine
Patagonia, bought a farm on the slope of the Piltriquitrón mountain, a
few meters from the parallel 42, in the province of Chubut.
At
its start the activity was limited to the growing of vegetables. Then,
noticing the abundance of rosehip, they begun to recolect and process it
in order to make pulp, used in the production of jam.

This brought the idea of adding other fine fruits which had to be grown.
A few years later, keeping the homemade way, a distiller was imported
from Europe to produce distillates and the alcohol for the liquor.
Having all this fruit they begun to process it in a homemade style.

For
its integral character, the Establishment El Puente was a model for
the region, being visited by national
and international tourists.
Important to mention is the fact that the Establishment El Puente belongs
to the Patagonia Argentina and has been qualified as organic zone for wild fruits by the International Organic Certifying Institutes.

Nowadays
due to the raising consciousness of people about the necessity to consume
pure foods, free from any contamination, the patagonic products are given
an added value that only the purity of this environment can offer.
